Why should I re-calibrate my bar each few months?2023-10-22T07:12:46+02:00

Flying lines (the long thin lines) dont stretch but shrink over time.
The frontlines, in general, face more load during use than the backlines and hence, the backlines shrink more than the frontlines.
This uneven length may enhance oversheeting and stall. Its adviced to check and, if needed, re-calibrate your bar each few months.
Below link shows how to adjust via the trimline, there is more than enough, but you can also adjust by applying a knot in your pigtails.

Why should I re-calibrate my bar after first use?2023-10-22T07:13:03+02:00

The depower/trim system is tensioned with 60kg in the factory to set all splices and connections in these thick strong lines.
Flying lines are added after this procedure and the bar is calibrated with 5kg load on each line.
Depending on your weight and usage, the load on the depower/trimline system may exceed the 60kg applied in manufacturing
and hence, after one or two sessions that part of the bar may stretch an additional few cm.
You can correct this increased length in the depower/trim system by shortening the trimline as shown in below pdf.

Why is there a fee for some payment options?2023-10-22T07:15:22+02:00

Payment services like paypal and creditcard charge a fee for their service while other payment methods are free.
The fees we charge are the actual fees taken by these services, they are no profit for Ventum.

Costs always need to be covered with any purcase.
One method is to increase price of a product so all costs are averaged in the price and hence ‘free shipping’ etc can be offered.
Ventum chooses to keep the gear price ‘clean as possible’. This means people living close to the warehouse and pay by bank pay less than people living remotely and paying with creditcard.
